Shallow Rebated Dado Rail

Our  dado rails are made from high quality Scandinavian Redwood. It does have knots, and the occasional shrinkage crack which may require a bit of filler, but it is tougher and has a much better surface quality than mouldings made from standard fibreboard and allows for a much crisper and truer profile.

Our shallow rebated dado rail is a classic pattern but with the addition of a rebate to make installation above our panelling very straightforward. Particularly suited to smaller spaces where the Deep Rebated version might encroach on the space too much.

Any dado can be used with all of our designs although the rebated versions are ideal for Georgian as it conceals the tops of all the grooves.

20mm deep x 67mm high

N.B. Rails are 2.4m long but we advise allowing only 2.0m of actual coverage per length as mitred corners use up a sizeable amount of timber!
